Greig Williams has been appointed as General Manager of the newly established sales unit „Nokia Alps South East Europe“ Vienna, 20.11.2008 By January 1st 2009 Greig Williams will take over the management of the newly established sales unit „Nokia Alps South East Europe“ (ASE). The headquarters will be located in Vienna which will be – besides Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina – additionally in charge of Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania. Vienna has already been upgraded as business location a year ago when Nokia Alps (Austria & Switzerland) has been expanded to Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and has been renamed to “Nokia Alps Adriatic”. Greig Williams has had several positions at Nokia since 1996. Recently, the 37 year old Canadian has been General Manager of Nokia South East Europe with its head office in Budapest. The new General Manager has started his career at Nokia as Solutions Manager Nokia Networks and Account Manager at Nokia U.K. before he took over the management of Nokia Hungary in 2006. Greig Williams studied Physics at Loughborough University and is a Chartered Marketer. Martin Pedersen has been acting as General Manager of Nokia Alps Adriatic since June 2006. He will head Nokia Nordic, which includes Sweden, Norwegia, Denmark, Finland and the Baltic states as General Manager from January 1st 2009. Photo:
